Note to all returning medical students

The library has now started issuing items to Medical Students over the summer holidays. Please note that all books are still subject to recall if there is a waiting list. It is best not to take items with you if planning to travel any great distance, in order to prevent complications and accruing fines if items are recalled. All recall notices are sent to your Keele email address. Please remember to check you email on a regular basis. To benefit from the extended loan, please renew items either by calling the library on (01782) 556577 or by visiting the library in person. Medical students can not currently use the online renewal services for extending loan periods.

Changes to reservations procedure

If you request an item from the library, notification that it is available for collection is now automatically sent out by email. Items will only be placed aside for collection for a maximum of 7 days. It is therefore essentially that you remember to check your email on a regular basis and don't place stock reservations requests on order prior to going on holiday. All Keele staff and student notifications will be sent automatically to their Keele email address. NHS staff need to confirm contact details with a member of library staff. Please remember to notify us if there is a change of email address.

Please contact the Health Library to enquire about update training, or book onto our Health Information on the Internet course to find out more.
