Print Journals moving online

Over the year we will be ending our subscription for a number of print journals. Many of these journals will be available online via our subscribed databases. When we have received the last issue of the print journal a poster will be displayed in the journal display area for that journal to indicate where you can find it. You can find the holdings for all print journals via the catalogue . eJournals available via Keele subscription can be found on the Keele A-Z list. NHS ejournals can be viewed on the NHS Evidence My Journals list – NHS Athens login is required. See our journals page for more information. NHS users should note that they can request a temporary login to the Keele network in order to access Keele networked resources.

Changes to the NHS Evidence HIR website

The main page for the NHS Evidence Health Information Resources (HIR) has changed. This is now promoted as a "Journals and Databases" page. Here you can still link to the main NHS-provided databases and to our subscribed e-journals and e-books. Options are available from the NHS Evidence Journals and Databases page Please note that the "sign in" option at the top left of the screen is NOT for your Athens username. This is to allow you to register and sign on to the main NHS Evidence website. The Athens login screen is available from within the individual options ie databases, journals, eBooks or NHS Athens. The Health Information Resources web page on the Health Library website will be updated as soon as possible but if you do find any errors then please let the eResources librarian know. The list of links to other resources  has been removed from the NHS Evidence Journals and Databases page, however we do have a comprehensive list of suggested literature

NHS Evidence Specialist Collections Changes

The Specialist Collections on the NHS Evidence HIR website will be changing. There will no longer be any bulletins, RSS Feeds or page updates. NHS Evidence will be updating during May to incorporate topic pages. The Health Library website and Current Awareness Service will be amended over the next couple of weeks in order to reflect these changes.
