NHS eJournals Holdings Errors

Following the update of the software managing the NHS Evidence databases and ejournals interfaces there have been a number of data errors. This has resulted in errors in the holdings listed for our ejournals presented via the NHS Evidence My Journals list and the NHS Evidence HDAS databases. I have been correcting the entries for the titles that the Health Library subscribe to. There are also errors in the NHS Core Content collection although NHS Evidence have informed us that it is unknown when these will be updated. If you have any problems accessing our ejournal titles please report them to the eResources Librarian . We apologise for any problems this may cause.

Important News for NHS Athens Users

It looks like a number of publishers are changing the way that Athens users login to their websites. When you attempt to login to a publisher or database website, you are advised to follow the Athens links until you are presented with an option to enter your NHS Athens username and password. This advice still holds. However at some point you may be presented with 2 Athens options; one of which is OpenAthens. If this occurs the OpenAthens option is the link you should click to then go on and enter your Athens username and password. Eduserv / Athens offer various versions of their authentication system and the NHS uses the OpenAthens MD version.
