Do you use our print journals collection? Survey continues

Let us know if you use our print journals. We are running a survey during March and April to assess how much the print journals are used. Please use the yellow tick sheets attached to the journals, or journal boxes, to record if you have used them. Use the journal tick sheet to record your usage

Athens maintenance 1st & 2nd April

Athens will be carrying out maintenance as follows: 01/04/2014 - all Athens services may be affected between 07:00 - 09:00am. This may affect users trying to access databases, ejournals and ebooks. 02/04/2014 - Athens email services may be affected during 07:00- 11:00am. This is most likely to affect users trying to register - there may be a delay in receiving the activation email. Apologies for the inconvenience caused.

Prostate Cancer Awareness Month

March 2014 is Prostate Cancer Awareness Month, a nation-wide campaign to raise the awareness of a disease that kills one man every hour.   The Prostate Cancer Charity has now become Prostate Cancer UK and continues to work hard to help more men survive prostate cancer and enjoy a better life. Accessing the BNF

Do you need access to the British National Formulary? There are a number of ways that you can access the BNF and the BNFc (for children). eBook – available to Keele and our NHS users. Search the catalogue for the title and you will find an entry for the BNF and the BNFc . You will need your Keele or NHS Athens username / password to access the full-text.
