Saturday maintenance work 15 July 2017 (Keele University)

We have been made aware of the following Keele IT maintenance that may affect computer access:

"This note concerns the second set of tests to be conducted on Saturday July 15th. Some disruption will be experienced between 07:00 and the early evening.

On July 15th these systems should continue to function:

Google mail and associated GSuite features
KLE
SCIMS and eVision
Staff and student printing
Keele People
Eduroam and visitor wifi
University web site
Library systems including self-issue devices
Campus telephones
Any externally hosted systems
Some local S: drive and network filestore

Services which will be out of action on July 15th:

Some local S: drive and network filestore
Some commercial and business systems
Some disruption to PC logins

There may be some temporary disruption during these days as services switch over.

IT:Connect will be open in the [Campus] Library on the day if there are any enquiries. In addition we will use Twitter on the day using @keelesystems. If you wish to raise any issues either before or during the exercise please email it.service@keele.ac.uk "
